What Happened To The LL1 Oil?

Hello, I just went to Canadian Tire to pick up Castrol Edge Synthetic and they no longer list LL1 , BMW, Mercedes, Audi as being compatible. Is this a localized store issue or is this oil no longer compatible? None of the other brands listed anything european as compatible either. Thanks.

Were they labeled LL1?? Maybe they still have some left in the east coast? Nothing at my Cdn Tire was labelled LL1

Strange as there are plenty in stock around the country it seems.
I just picked up 2 here since they are on sale for $38.99 until Oct 20th.

Noticed the same here and I switched to Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40 which has the LL01 even though I don't really care for it much anymore. I've just read that overall it's a pretty good oil. Reading this thread though I see there's a Castrol with it still which is interesting originally when I had looked at the new "Made in Canada" bottles the LL01 spec was no where written on it and that's when I switched.

I have visited other Cdn tire stores and Walmarts and No Castrol with LL1. I did find a Mobil1 European formula though.

EDIT: PartsSource is carrying the Castrol Edge Euro Car formula that Dino GT is showing so i bought some and it is also on sale right now (Nov4). Thanks guys
