Possible for window tint to interfere with comfort access?

I got my windows tinted today. I did all five regular windows and the windshield. It came out darker than I expected so Im hoping i don't get pulled over too soon

The thing is when i go to open my door by placing my hand on the handle it isn't responding right away. Sometimes i need to let go and release 3-4 times for it to sense my hand.

It never did this. It was always extremely quick and sensitive to my touch.

Any ideas? I'm sure it's been discussed before and I did search. No luck though.

Thanks

if the tint is metallic, then yeah the tint is causing this problem to the CA

Depending on the tint film you use you can run into problems. Revlis has Johnson ceramic tint and he experienced spotty performance with CA. I have F1 Pinnacle and I don't have any problems.

Do you guys think mine is more severe because I tinted the windshield as well? I'm just trying to come to different conclusions before I make the tint shop pull it off. They told me it wouldnt interfere. Hmmm

I am unsure of the brand. I will be calling the place that installed it tomorrow. I took the car to a very professional and reputable shop here in palm springs, ca. They charged 200 for the 5 windows and an additional 100 for the windshield. So 300 altogether.

They had some strange tint options. It seemed as if it was either 35% or 13%. Nothing in between. I was looking for 20% but decided with the 13% and the lightest I could go on the windshield. It's DARK.

Yeah, have problems myself after tint. Additionally, I've noticed even using the FOB, distance from which I can use it has dropped dramatically.
