today on my way to work. 1st day I've had it out since the weather changed. it was about 32F. started fine, drove fine. Pull up to the 1st stop sign, about 3 miles away in a 55 mph zone. I hit the brakes and I felt like the pedal was super hard. I actually thought he car died. I looked down and the RPM's were bouncing. like 1000 RPM swing, almost as causally as if the needle was on spring. then it was.....fine. Pull on to the next road and about a mile down the road I tried to repeat the issue and it was fine, wouldn't repeat. it did do it again about 6 miles later but ever so briefly. I did notice though that every time I stop my RPM's surge go up about 200 then down a couple times. But this little bit has no feel on the car or brakes. I cant say for 100% sure that this hasn't always been the case and I never noticed. But I have noticed and its always been this way, that the MPG gauge always drops then pegs out at 50+ when braking and stopping.
