MOST iPod install - removing pins from ASK/CCC

How do you remove the pins from the ASK/CCC connector/radio harness? Do I have to take the blue tabs out?

yes, you have to slide the blue tab out of the holder to be able to gain access to the locking mechanism for the 2 pins that need to be switched over. then using a straight pic, or small screwdriver, you have to push on the locking mechanism of the pin while at the same time pulling on the wire to release it from the holder. do remove one pin and install the appropriate wire from the IPOD harness at a time, as to not mix them up.

BTW, this will need to be programmed when finished

Thanks for the info! Just pull on the fiber optic cables to remove them from the harness?

I was able to find the cable here: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

Do you guys know of a better place to get it cheaper?

Also, how much did the dealer charge to program the car?
