3M Tape or Glue for Installing Rear Deck Spoiler?

Those who have done it themselves...

What did you use?

3M Double Sided Tape?

Or

Glue?

Should I also use the 3M tape for the ACS Roof Spoiler?

3m tape, industrial strength though, otherwise it'll start to slide around a bit

I've used 3M tape for 5 of my own spoilers on various cars. Never had a problem.

Garage List
Depends on the rear deck spoiler. The corners on the OEM spoiler for E90 won't stay down w/ just tape, you'll need to secure the corners w/ Betalink. However, tape is fine for the M spoiler.

Yea it is and OEM spoiler!

So your saying that I have to use the 3M tape for all but the sides and then use Betalink to seal the sides?

Betalink...? What is that and where can I get it?

don't use betalink unless you're sure you'll never EVER want to take the spoiler off again.

Thumbs up

I put mine on with 3m but one side came up about 24 hours after the initial install. I put some painters tape to hold it down for about another 24 hours and now i can't even budge it. It sits flush to my window and looks great.
