rebates on 08 335i sdn???

I have read some posts about rebates on 08 335 cars of 1200. Is that true? I have a 08 335i sdn manual trans that I ordered in May, and the car will be arriving next week. I never signed a buyers order yet, just have an email agreement on price. Can I try and get the 1200 additional off? I am already approved for the 3.9 financing. I also heard the rebate was only for automatic trans models.

I believe it's only for the steptronic transmission. The rebate for both manual and auto ended last month.
