Hercules ironman iMove review
Hey guys,
Im currently running alufelgen wheels 19x8.5 235/35/19 and 19x9.5 265/30/19 staggered setup. I have the KW V1 coilover with half finger gap. I was running the falken FK453 (no comfort and noisy) and recently changed over to the Hercules ironman imove tires. Let me tell you guys that i'm very impressed with these new tires. The ride is comfortable, absolutely no road noise and it's pretty descent on wet roads. The car feels like i'm floating on air. It's amazing. The price is incredible! I paid $600 for all 4. Which isn't bad at all. |

Bringing up an old thread... these tires are extremely 'affordable'. How have they held up for you on your 19's? I would consider these as an alternate or backup considering the price.

Haha thought this was Hercules 3D or spoof. Guessing these are Chinese? I mean who else would come up with a name like this.

Ive had 255/35/19 imove tires on for their entire lifespan. Ok treadwear, but i DO drive like an asshole. Black streaks wherever, whenever. Ive driven 145 on these, and routinely hit 100. I don't notice any noise, but then again i AM catless. Traction...on these i hit 12.18 with MHD stage 1 only. They grip pretty well. These tires ARE a safe bet! Im not dead after driving on Chinese tires. Give them a chance! Just be careful in the rain. I NEVER speed in the rain, and neither should you. Im still driving on these, and they're damn near bald. |

Anyone else? Apparently these are made by Hercules USA, who are owned by Cooper.

Had these tires about 4-5 years ago on my 335i coupe (later transferred to e46 sedan). Staggered: 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. The e92 had 240,000 km at the time and I was close to selling it, so didn’t want to spend $2000+ on fancy new tires. Read some good reviews on these and decided to pull the trigger. It was a very pleasant surprise. They looked nice, gripped well and provided good comfort. What amazed me was that one night I ended up getting caught up in a snow storm and they managed to get me home after driving 30 kms, both city and highway, in very slippery conditions.
I guess it’s one of those “don’t judge a book by its cover “ scenarios. I would definitely recommend them. |
