Makes you wonder why on the xenon-equipped e90 and e91 they couldn't put the beam adjust as on the e92. It's only a cam lever that turns (rotates) the ellipsoid projector lens a smidge.

True but just where would you stick them?

The headlamp cover is plain glass with no markings so how would you know the right position?

@ booforty - Just about stopped!

I've been away for a fortnight and my car is uncharacteristically and depressingly dirty. I'm going to give it a good clean at the weekend so will take and post up some pictures then.

If you're travelling before then I could probably take some when I get in tonight if it's light enough after golf...

Or do what Volvo do on their xenons and set them up with the euro throw in the first place.

Unlike the UK, the euro set up has the main beam set stratight ahead rather than an angle which means that it does not matter which side of the road you drive on as you will always be legal.

Certainly the case on the old S60, V70 & S80s

Don't know if the S40 and V50 so it becuase they are just a Ford Focus and of course the new V70 is based on the Mondeo so who knows if the new Ford built cars still do it but it makes a lot of sense.
