OS X Parallels Help
Hey guys, I've got a first generation Macbook, and I don't have Leopard yet, but it'll be on my computer very soon!
Anyways, I've been thinking about running parallels on my Macbook for gaming reasons. I know it won't be able to handle big time games, but just for some things like counter-strike for LAN parties with friends. Can someone walk me through the process? I'm downloading the program already, but I have no idea how to use it. I remember a friend telling me I can choose how much ram I can give it to run. I have 1 GB of ram right now, but I can upgrade at any point since ram is so cheap right now! So, is it worth it? If so, how would I go about doing this? Thanks in advance! |

if you are going to do gaming, better just use the built in bootcamp in leopard so you dont have MAC running under your windows OS. You will experience much better performance.

yeah i gave up on it running games a long time ago... 64 MB video card isn't going to do anything. LAME! Now, I want to sell this for a Macbook Pro when I have money ahahahha
I'm just going to use it for little things that may not be OS X compatible now. |

VMWare isn't nearly as good as Parallels. It's not even up for debate, every speed test heavily favors Parallels; especially important on an older machine.
