My car came with the normal memory, heated and electric adjustable seats with absolutely no lumbar or side bolster adjustments.
I picked up some seats with the bolster and and lumbar. Everything that is meant to work is working other than the lumbar and bolster buttons. Which I expected, today I pulled the seat out to take a look at the wiring as this seems to be a common issue on these seats but to my surprise the floor connector that connects into the seat has no wiring for the bolster at all, my car is a 2008 model so I looked in pin 7 and pin 9 but nothing. Now on the seats however there is a black and red wire in pin 7 that you are suppose to splice and it works. But since my floor connector doesn’t have anything what am I meant to do? I attached images of both connectors. Is there anything I can do or am I stuck? |

I think you need 2 spare pins to add to your harness on the car and then splice then into your existing red and brown wires.
