CC-ID 207 on 2011 E93 335is
Purchased a 2011 with 15k miles few months ago. Recent work includes new shoes, Bimmer Tech MMI, oil/filter, brake flush, cabin filters and plugs. Driving home after Thanksgiving dinner, Brake light, ABS, traction control and red car on lift lights came on. Message of Electronic Systems Malfunction came on. Still drove fine but parked on drive currently. Searching found the following error code: CC-ID 207 which is defined as Central Electronics Failure, Stop Vehicle. Received separate message on dash of "Electronic Fault!"
Ideas on how to proceed and order in which to do so? Purchased the car as a fun car for my wife but hope I'm not in a world of hurt. My independent service shop is backed up and might be a bit before I can take it in. Thanks in advance Sean in Indy |

Not sure if you've solved it by now, but this can be a bit of a challenging one. I had this error over the summer and since replacing my battery, it hasn't recurred, but I also think it can be due to a failing Junction Control Box or other electronic control module in the car, which could take some diagnosis work from your shop.
