Pure 600 turbos
Just a random question about twins. Can you just not run inlets and put lets say like a turbo guard over twins like on single turbo set ups or is that just a lot of heat soak for IAT's? Just want to do some learning. Thanks for the input

I would imagine you can't do that. As you said, the turbos are located in the hottest part of the engine bay, so temps would probably be much higher than with standard inlets. Also, there is dust down there that can be swept off the road into your turbos.
You mostly see those turbo guards on top mount single turbo setups because they are out in fresh air. I've never seen one on a bottom mount kit. |

I've seen people try it before.....but there are no power gains from doing it, and all you are going to do is kill the turbos by sucking junk into them. Bad idea overall.....
