So I got home from work and got a call from the BMW CA I have been working with for the past several months, he said I could come in and bring my build for the 335i sedan and we would talk numbers.

So I got there and brought my build in, he tallied up the price, and it was MUCH better than the 1 series convertible and 3 series convertible..

then he says 'i got a car on the lot that is similar to your build, slight differences, it's red, not blue, but i can sell it to you with a 4k discount (a grand under invoice) we need to clear the lot for the 09s....'

just what i wanted to hear...so we go out to it and check it out, it had everything i was looking for, except it was red, with wood burl trim instead of aluminum......but of course we took it out, and as he's driving speeding around 25mph curves at 60, i was impressed, i dont have the balls to drive that fast...

so of course then I am driving, get on the highway, get up to 120 no problem....blah blah blah, I have seen this before!

Not to say I wasnt impressed, as always.....and intrigued.

So as we are driving back to the dealership, he is like 'yeah, we will get the paperwork out of the way and you will have this thing tonight...'

I was like 'um.....but I havent got my military bonus yet, it will probably be here in 2 to 3 weeks.....but dont get the wrong idea! I am really enticed by this offer....what can we do?'

So when we get back to the dealership, he talks to the manager....who comes over and talks to me...

'so you are going to get the money in about 2 to 3 weeks?' he asks.

'yeah' i reply. He stands there a second....

'Well, if you sign a promissary note today, and give us a check, we can get this stuff rolling and you can drive out of here tonight, and when the money comes in, just let us know....'

It was really tempting, but considering I am still working on selling my other cars....(still getting them ready, damn it!) I replied.

'i cant, i gotta sell my other cars and see if i even break even....' I was a sad.

'well, we cant not sell the car, but unless someone notices it, we wont promote it. But if someone notices it or the tag, we can't not sell it.'

'Well, I will do what I can to make this work..' I replied. They gave me all the forms and stuff and sent me on my way. I told my CA I would be in touch.

So I need to hurry and get these other vehicles gone! I dont want that car to escape!

But I hope I can make this work, it sure beats waiting 4 months for a build!

I am excited...
