Is there enough room in the e93 to fit this? The EKP is wedged in there pretty good, totally different than the e90/e92.

This looks like a great solution for $30.

looks like it, either way with the fan you dont need the metal bracket as a heatsink and can add you own stick on sinks and zip tie ekpm anywhere

My EKP should be the original one from 2007..
Running a 535 Walbro and I’ve had no issues.
I did have worries about it at first but it’s been fine.

How hot is the climate where you live? I bet the EKP lives a shorter life with hotter ambient trunk temperatures since it lives between there and the cabin. Even with AC on in the cabin, the trunk can be extremely hot.

This past summer it would get 105°F during the day.
But I would drive it normally during those temps, or not drive it at all.
Not sure if the EKP is subject to more wear as the demand for fuel increases during pulls, in hot weather.
Some occasional pulls at night once the temps had dropped.

It’s basically been like that for the past 4 years and I haven’t had a need for ekp upgrade or a fan to cool it.

Just my experience.
