N52 GM 6l45 trans update

So I've recently become aware that there is an update for this transmission but I'm struggling to find more information on it. I found a couple threads discussing it but not a diy or something to help me have it done

Is this something the dealer preforms?

Can some who has more knowledge chime in or link a thread
