if you look, there is (1) allen bolt at each end of the carbon. You need to remove 2 bolts, that big of a deal? Especially if you take it to the dealer, once every 10-15000 miles, to change the oil.

Can anyone tell me why there were SOOOOOOO many problems with past strut bars?

Stock OEM on the 335 has fitting problems. You must test it out on the OEM box to check for clearance. Fwiw, the off-angle design does not maximize torsion resistance.

Well it was mainly designed for the E82/87, but it will work in E90

Please show photo of this brace on a 335 with the OEM airbox, and specify clearance from airbox and to underside of hood. Looks very nice, but we need these data. Thanks!

Good question, i know it works with E92, i'm guessin it depends on the layout of what's underneath. If you want to take a few pix with a straight board or yard stick. lay it across your engine bay, 2-3 inches infront of your struts. Check clearance and measure how high you need to sit from above the top of the strut. In the Mean time, ill try and find an M3 myself. lol

After you had stated this, i looked and there is room to remove oil cap, no need to remove bar.
