Hi Bimmer friends, I haven’t been able to clean for my car for months as I had no jet wash until recently and not had the time to clean my car. My 2 Series is just over 2 years and is my daily commuter on the high/motorway 5-6 days a week and the results look fantastic.

These pictures are not edited and pictures just doesn’t do it justice, I’m a massive fan of Autoglym products and used the Autoglym Polar Blast and Shampoo Conditioner on the bodywork. Bilt Hamber for the alloys, Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer and Autoglym instant tyre shine spray and Autoglym fast glass spray.

Stunning car, are you on the Detailing World forum by any chance, it's 99% UK based.

Have you tried the spray on rinse off Autoglym Polar Seal, I think it's pretty good, although I also use...
Autobrite Direct Magiseal
Autobrite Direct Top Gloss
ValetPRO Snow Seal
Gyeon Wet Coat
Koch Chemie Protector Wax
Apart from the Gyeon all the others are foam cannon applied.

There are far better snow foams on the market than Polar Blast, if I do use Polar Blast I either mix in 50ml of Autobrite Direct Citrus Pre-wash into the solution, or I use a pump sprayer and mix up 2 litres of citrus at a ratio of 20:1 and spray all the lower panels then snow foam over the top of it.

Appreciate your comment a lot thank you so much, I’ve seen your X5 and it’s stunning too, no I haven’t actually I assume it is isn’t part of the Bimmerpost forum? If possible could you share me a link if that’s alright with you only if you don’t mind of course. Thank you for your advice as I don’t know many detailers and any people with experience on cleaning cars or what products to use. And thanks again as the car was super filthy before. 👍🙏👊

Hi,
Here's the link to the Detailing World forum...

https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forums/

I've learnt loads about car cleaning/detailing since I joined, just be warned though that once you go down the car cleaning rabbit hole there's no escaping 😂😂

I've now got so many products it'll take me a life time to use them up...and I'm still buying more 😂

My favourite products at this point on time are Autobrite Direct, Gyeon and Garage Therapy, their dedicated wheel shampoo is great, I don't know what equipment you've got but a pump sprayer and pump foamer are useful pieces of kit to have. I use wheel shampoo through a pump foamer.

Mate honestly I appreciate that so much, your a legend. Nothing I love my more than my pride and joy looking it’s best and that’s my main passion. I’ve been using Autoglym products for years but want to experiment more cleaning brands and go in depth with detailing as it’s satisfying when you do the hard work yourself. I have the Karcher K3 power control and snow foam bottle attachment. But again thank you so much 👊👍🙏
