how to tap for switched power for heated seats
hello everyone,
I just got hold of a nice set of heated msport seats for my E91. As per now, I have manual base line seats, so I guess I will have to add power for the lumbar support and for the heating. Can anyone please link me to a tutorial and tell me which connectors I will have to buy to tap into the fuse box as cleanly as possible and, again, which connectors to buy to add the lines to the seat wiring? Thank you all in advance! |

I'm wondering about a similar thing but for adding a wire to power adjustable lumber support. I could branch off of the power wire used by the pneumatic bolsters but I'd like to run a new wire with a new fuse like from factory.
The problem is knowing how the wire is routed. |

Cigarette lighter in the arm rest? That only draws current when the engine is running and has chunky wires.
In my e93 the wires come up from the floor at the back of the centre console, passenger side. I used it to hard wire a Bluetooth receiver. |
