Anyone in the SE perform manual transmission swaps?
Just bought an e91 auto that I intend to manual swap, but I don't have the space or the know how to do it. Anyone in the southeast that does this? Prefer having it done somewhat locally. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

After searching for nearly two years, I recently bought a 2010 E91 with automatic transmission and plan to pay to swap in a manual transmission. Can anyone recommend a highly capable shop in/near Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, or Tennessee? I have a few leads from monitoring these boards over the years, but now the project is upon me! Thanks in advance.

FWIW you are almost always better on buying the car with the 'right' transmission from the get go unless you can do the work all yourself.
Most shops are going to rape you and quote you a TON of hours to do this job, if you can even find someone willing to do it. It's not just the physical work but also the custom coding involved etc. so you don't have any CELs etc. and can pass inspection. Also, while you have the MT out you will want to put it an upgrade clutch, pivot pin, fluid, etc. Just buy the car with the right tranny. They are out there. FBO mods are cheap.
