fog lights as DRL

Hi,
I am asking for your help, can I encode the fog light with angel eyes on the "auto" switch position with the bimmercode so that the low beam lights come on after dark.
in the attachment there is a screen of what I set, but it still does not work - in the auto position, the dipped beam and angel eye lights are on

sorry for my spelling - Regards, bro

For the protools app, this is what needs to be done for fog lights as DRL.
Maybe you can find these options in your app.

FRM-Coding-expert mode-options(2) DRL_TFL_MIT_NSW
nicht_aktiv -> change to aktiv

PWM_NSW_TFL
wert_01-> change to wert_02

What is the rationale behind having fogs as DRL? I always say to myself "look at that idiot with fogs on and it's not foggy" Is it just for show?

If you know how to do it with bimmercode, I count on your help.

Ok, well, I know BimmerCode has an expert mode. So as mentioned earlier by Serf27, you can find the parameters in the modules and toggle them.

Also depending on the FRM version and the year of your car; sometimes things are different between FRM2 and FRM1 also the built year (Pre-LCi vs. LCI) might have some affect to it.
Try what Serf27 suggested and see if that works.

I like the angel eyes and yellow fog lights as DRL.
The options I listed were on frm2.

one more question, do the lights as in the picture shine in position A or 0? I searched the bimmercode and carly and I can't find it... I have a frm3, e91, 2011... I found the fog light options but in position 0 and this is not what I want.

They will be on in any position if the coding is done right.

Kinda off topic, but is there a way to "save" or "remember" fog light activation when lights are on? Like if I've set them on at one point and shut off the car, they will be on again when starting the car back up? I always drive with fogs on at night for the 10% extra light output and it's annoying having to turn it on every single time

No, it always resets or turns them off when the car is shut off.
