e91 manual heated seats retrofit
Hi everyone, I am picking up heated manual Msport seats to retrofit in my pre LCI 330XD. I undestand I will have to add some wiring to get the lumbar support and the heating to work. As I want to retrofit them as neatly as possible. I would like to buy the original BMW pins to crimp and add to the wiring. Can anyone help me by telling me which ones I'll need?
I think it could be: 61138364842 61138364844 61131383776 61131393724 Anything else I could need to attach to the fuse/junction box? Thank you all in advance, any info is appreciated! |

you can check the pictures of genuine wiring in my thread
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1877956 also you'll need a two pair of fuses or simply buy wiring from me

So you also should keep in mind which seats you want to buy, from pre-2007 car or newer

However, please note that the first image is what it looked like 10 minutes later, with all wires tucked away. Today I plan on vacuuming the car and putting the drivers seat back in, next are the fuse and junction box connections. |

Hi everyone, after doing the retrofit and coding the heated seats, I get lights on the buttons (which stay on, as I've read they turn off quickly if they sense something wrong), but the seats don't work. There is no movement and no clicking sound from the seat modules, on both sides. Could it be that my junction box doesn't support the PWM function, as I've read there are different versions? I am 100% confident the wiring is correct, and the fuses are all new, plus the chances I crimped the connectors badly on both seats are very very slim.
Lumbar bolsters wor a charm, luckily... Can anyone please help me troubleshoot? |
