Cats can't be removed either, it will fail inspection, and the police are actually looking under your car to see if they are there. I thought of making a swap system, so putting on the cats for inspection would be easy, but they actually check a lot, especially these cars. I image rules are almost the same in Sweden, maybe not as harsh, but you mention schmiedmann's exhaust, which I think could be legal. Do you have the cats in place on yours? I got a full stock exhaust and was looking for exactly what you have posted here. Are you able to share the parts from schmiedmanns website? I am going there next week to get some stuff done and I will ask them about how legal this is. Especially the pops it makes just make me tingle, could be cool on mine. Also, Schmiedmann sells SS, so for the others here, does it pop without changes to the engine map, even with cats and stuff still there? |

Removing catalytic converters could be a enviromental crime, I still have my cats. The system I got was part no SCM9091R276NR and I guess those are being or are discontinued or made to order perhaps.
