Simple Recipes You've Enjoyed (Lately)
Zero pasta + veggies + protein (ground beef, or shrimp, chicken) + japanese bbq sauce.
Fast, simple very very good and healthy-ish. What recipes have you been cooking lately that you would reccomend to almost anyone? |

Turkey Meatsauce (you can serve it over pasta or rice)
I buy 99% lean turkey. Sauté in EVOO for 5-6 minutes until brown. Add canned tomatoes, black beans, salt and pepper to taste and turn down to medium low for 30 min. It's very healthy and you can't tell the difference between this and meatsauce with ground beef... |

Our quick Go-To meal is baked boneless/skinless chicken breasts with some sort of spice. We sometimes use some Korean spices or maybe Greek seasoning for the chicken. Coat chicken lightly in olive oil, then whatever spices. Saute in a pan for 3 minutes each side to sear it, then into the oven for 15 minutes or so at 400F.
We also do roasted potatoes at the same time. Baby Yukon Gold cut in half if they're small or quarters if they're medium size. Toss in a bowl with olive oil and whatever spices. Sometimes we use just salt and pepper, sometimes paprika, and sometimes ras-al-hanout. Coat to taste, dump on a foil lined cookie sheet, and toss in the oven with the chicken. Same time or maybe 5 minutes more. Then some sort of veggie on the side. We both have aiolis we like on the taters. Usually less than 30 minutes to whip up from scratch.

2lbs hamburger. Brown in pan with favorite spices while you dice a head of cabbage. Wilt that over the top, warm some tortillas, grab a plate Jalapeños optional
