Detailed Image gets A+++ I just can't believe these guys.
I know this is sort of a vendor review but since it's detailing oriented I thought this would be a good place. Now normally I don't ever do this kind of thing but Detailed Image has just blown me away.
First off, they have been super helpful through PMs when I'm trying to decide what products to buy. This is a pretty normal thing but it's only the start. After I figured out what I wanted I asked about discounts, to which they told me I had the 10% e90post discount and, even though it applied to last month's newsletter subscribers, they would give me a credit for future purchases for the cost of my shipping [essentially giving me free shipping]. So now, I not only get a discount, but I get a break on my next purchase. SWEET. Here's what really made me love these guys. I placed my order on Thursday night - the day before the 4th of July. I am leaving to go on a trip next weekend so I messaged Detailed Image and let them know I needed to have the products here by the following Friday, July 11, and asked to have the products shipped this Friday to make sure that happens. Well, me being Mr. Impatient forgot that this Friday was the 4th of July and nobody ships or does business on that day. DI told me that since they are cross country from me that standard shipping wouldn't get my order to me by the 11th since they would have to ship it on Monday. I didn't want to pay for expensive upgraded shipping nor did I want my products to sit outside for the 10 days that I will be gone - so I had to cancel my order for now. I expected DI to give me a little bit of hassle BUT INSTEAD they apologized for my inconvenience AND gave me a $10 credit for my next order to say sorry!!! WHAT? THEY ARE SORRY? It was my fault that I got into this little shipping problem but they still took care of me as if they had wronged me. AMAZING! I will be a DI customer for life. I know a good thing when I see/experience it and I have a newfound loyalty to a business that has not lost touch with what customer service is. Thanks guys. Look for my reorder soon. |

I've been saying it for a long time. I've ordered from just about every vendor there is, and George & Greg are consistently the best when it comes to shipping, customer service, etc... Plus they are nice guys.
FWIW, I don't know a single other vendor that spends the time they do answering forum posts and PMs. I can't imagine how much time it takes them... |

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but...
These guys are unbelievable! I placed an order last night before bed, and the shipping notice was waiting for me when I got to my desk this morning!!
Granted, there's a 2-hour time difference, but that's still incredibly impressive!! The notice was generated before I even started my day. WOW!! Props to DI - great service!!! |

I place my orders and get them the next day with ground shipping, oh and no tax because I'm in NJ. That along with the best customer service is why I only order from Detailed Image unless I need a product they don't stock yet.
