Not on my 335 but my A4 turbo. It was actually the house going into the intake manifold. You want to talk about a pop. I spike to around 23 psi in that car and didn't have it tightened down enough. Thought the engine had just dropped out of the car
![]() Scared shitless until I saw it flapping in the breeze. Whew!

Does the hose look like its "ballooning" from excessive pressure, or does it look like that just because the hose is "off?"

OMGz teh BOVz cause it to exPloDe y0... you must need forged DV's instead.
![]() Listen, its not the end of the world, you stepped on the gas and your coupler popped off, its no big deal. When I first turbo'd my s2000 I blew off silicone couplers a few times, which almost caused me to have a heart attack the first time when the car just fell on its face and there was no boost ![]()

They are usually pretty flexible... I think its just the way that its sitting half off the pipe. Also, when a coupler blows off a charge pipe it makes a distinctive "pop" for lack of a better word. I don't think there was any excess pressure that wasn't released causing the clamp to come off.

Thanks for all the input guys.
I finally got the 'crappy' hose clamps off and replaced them with T-bolt clamps. Also wiped the excess oil that got on the hose and pipe. So far so good, but then again, it's probably too soon to say. I guess I'll just have to wait and seee........ P.S. Yes, those were the clamps that came with the AA BOV.......Now I know why they're SIHT
