Nokya h8

I recently installed on my E92 for my angel eyes a Nokya h8 BUT after I installed it, I started to smell some sort of a burning scent so I decided to revert back to my stock lights. Question to you all.

1. Anyone experienced the same thing?
2. Should I choose another brand of bulb? or stick w/ my Nokya?

Thanks!

The Nokya are above the OEM watt. I think it takes double what the stock takes so that smell might be the wires burning from the over consuption of the electricity. Plus it throws a signal once you turn on the headlights cause the lights dims down and it sense the wattage is not normal.
