V3 data logging question
Hey guys,
Sorry this will be my first time using a tune from vishnu soo.. please bear with me(just got my V3 in the mail!!! ). Just a quick question about data logging. Using the serial to usb cable we should be able to connect to the proceed itself for data logging. However when collecting data with your laptops, do you guys just run out a long serial cable from the ecu box (open) and into the car from the hood(im imagining through the window or something...)? Or is there a better way to do this? Thanks! |

run the cable into the glovebox, that way the laptop can be easily used with the Procede Reader! here is the link:

Works great. I've had mine installed since I first put the PROcede V1.47 on the car. Can't imagine doing it any other way. Wireless would be nice but this is so simple and cheap that it just doesn't make sense to try to go wireless. Save yourself a headache and get the $9.99 USB-Serial cable from Newegg here:
