What is this part?

I just recently got my 2011 335is and found this in the center console. Assuming it is for the phone plugin? Does anyone know what this part is for?

Any input is appreciated thanks!

I have a 2012 335is and have never seen that part. If you don't see a BMW part number on it, then I would think it belongs to something else.

It's the seat rail trim piece that goes on the end. 1 on each side. Part numbers 52109110103 and 52109110104
