Hi folks,
I've retro fitted CIC into my non iDrive 320i LCI.
Used wiring from a salvage car and made a little loom up for the controller and screen.

X14272 I've pinned
12v to pin1
gnd to pin 27
kcanH to pin11
kcanL to pin 30

Blue fakra to Amazon special GPS antenna stuck inthe roof
Pink Fakra to the screen
Beige Fakra to glovebox USB
Black to aerial


As soon as the battery is reconnected the HDD in the CIC starts spinning, ignition on and the controller is illuminated as is the facia of the CIC but Im gettign nothing else. No display, nothing through the speakers.
Everything has power and ive got 12v to the screen but nada. Nothing.

Only things that ive not tried yet:
DAB Module is still connected in the boot, but if i unplug it the MOST will be flapping about
I replaced my Armrest AUX port with a dual USB/AUX from a salvage car but left the USB Fakra disconnected as that will go to a combox eventually? Aux is plugged into the old wiring

Any suggestions on the next step? I know these units need coding for full functionality but id have thought it would at least switch on!

Borrowed a known good CIC unit and it all works perfectly. I mustve bought a duff unit.
