Safe mods for cars with no Oil Cooler

Yea before someone waves a "do a search" statement. I have! Just wanted to ask you gurus what the safest piggybacks or software would be for a car with no oil cooler? Also, intakes would be okay too? Thanks!!!

SSTT is weak, you can go with any tune on the market even though you dont have an oil cooler. Hell, the fastest time on dragtimes.com was done by a car without an oil cooler (Terry@BMS).

Just watch your oil temps and dont track your car.

I have no oil cooler, and during two years of ownership I've had SSTT for 12k, JBX for 3k and now the mighty V3. My temps always in the middle or a tad past the middle mark.

the JB2 is pretty weak too, compared to some peoples standards, not sure how well it does with heat tho, but it should be relatively low. sounds like all tunes wont heat your engine up enough, unless you race hard core.

JB2 = SSTT but with fuel adjustments.....

If you want more boost then you need to go with PROcede V3, JB2X or wait for JB3.....

Yea, the only way that they would give me an oil cooler is if my car goes into limp mode which is hasnt. highest oil temp i've seen on a 75 degrees day in heavy stop and go traffic was 255... dont think that qualifies for an oil cooler..

When an aftermarket set-up does come out I will retrofit it on my own.. screw those cheapskates at BMW USA...love their cars but their loyalty to their customers suck..

BUT i am thinking of getting the SSTT and the BMS single intake...

i'm confused by their site.. is the kit for non-oil cooler cars still 595 as well? Or do we have to buy the oem oil filter housing and the vk cooler at the same time?
