performance of 335xi v i
This has been rehashed a million times, but since a bunch of posts @ the beginning of this thread were wondering...
335xi is faster 0-60 than 335i, not slower, due to a better launch. AWD FTW. 335i will outperform the 335xi at higher speeds due to weighing a bit less. A tuned 335xi will eat a 335i even @ the higher speeds. A 335i with a sport suspension will slightly outhandle a 335xi (even w/ sport package) due to a lower stance and suspension. |

You will regret buying that SL55.
I know someone that just traded up to the SL600 because of warranty issues associated with the 55. Not that a V12 is better for warranty, but ever other week that 55 was in the shop for electrical concerns dealing with ECU and CEL's. Both suck in the winter by the way, dont even contemplate driving that car in the snow. Why not get a GT-R if you want the best of everything except interior plushness?

I have a 335I e90 MANUAL........
If I had to do it again I would do the 335XI e92 with auto-trans and the paddles.

Concerning the winter driving question, it seems to be the concesus that:
Xi with snows > i with snows > Xi with All weather > i with All weather Neither the i or Xi is drivable in the white stuff with summer performance tires |
