Wear on brake pads - lip on outer edge
These pads are off my 128i and have about 6-7K miles on them. This is the case on both driver and passenger sides.
What would cause that lip on the outside edge? Rotors too small? Pads too large? Pads not sitting properly in the caliper? Both the rotors and pads were specified for the 128. However, I see that the diameter of the rotors is 11.80 inches/290.80 mm while all the other rotors that come up for the 128 are 11.81 inches/300.00 mm. So, I may have to ditch these rotors after only a few thousand miles.

290mm would be 11.41 inches, so just about .4" smaller than 300mm which would be the 11.81 inch measurement. From what I can tell the rears should be 300mm.

Yeah, that should have been 299.80 mm.
