I have...but with her senior year, her work with a local children's hospital and applying to physical therapist school she's not going to have time for that. Although I did tell her that once she gets out of PT school she got to see if there are race teams that need a traveling PT.

27 year old daughter is really into cars. We had her in a manual Fiat 500 in high school to keep her off the phone while driving and it turned out she loved driving stick.
She did pretty good for a while. Mini Cooper S manual in college, then she migrated over to a Mazda 3 manual when she started having kids. Once kid #3 was on the way she showed up in a 2020 Toyota 4 Runner. However she kept the Mazda 3 as a backup so still gets to row her own when she has the time.

My son is 13 months old and is already showing an interest in cars more so than my daughter ever did... playing with his toy cars, trying to get the hotwheels cars onto the track etc.
My daughter DID however help out with installing my new wing on my car last weekend - so I'll take that as a win.

My younger son is just as much a gearhead as I'm
We have very similar taste in cars, mods, racing events. Some pics from a pop n son track day. |

So proud…
Daughter sheared off her driver’s door mirror backing the CR-V into her narrow urban garage. She just installed a new one using nothing but yt and determination. She lives far from me and I had no involvement in the project. Congrats kid! |

My son turns 16 in 5 weeks, and has had his eye on my E90 for at least 6 or 7 years. So to prepare for its impending theft, I took delivery of my G80 this past weekend.
He just finished Autos I this past school year and is enrolled in Autos II next year. A local dealer group is gearing up to offer internships, and he's excited about the option. |
