washing my car is starting to seem like REAL work

thats right. I'm getting really tired of washing her on a regular basis. she still looks great with no dings or scratches but i find myself daydreaming about taking her to an automated washing place..HELP ME PLEASE.

Took mine to a drive-through wash for the first time on Friday, dedicated carwash place, had the brushes. Got 3 scratches. Now I gotta bust out the scratch-x. DON'T DO IT.

I kinda feel the same way. I've been sooo busy lately with wedding plans, being the general contractor for my own home remodel and working my job that detailing the car took a back seat this summer.

Sadly I never did the spring detail and have only washed my car once, yes that's right, one single solitary time this entire summer. Pathetic. I plan on squeezing a detail in before the big weekend(8/30), at least I hope to. I have held tough and stayed away from car washes and just let her stay dirty and swirl free , I don't pass any touchless washes on a regular basis and don't have the time to go out of the way.

Get some inspiration. Look at some pics of detailed TiAG E90s. That is what does it for me when I need a little motivation.

Take it to a brushless place and you'll be fine. If I didn't know a place had brushes, and I found out it did when I got up there, I'd make people back up behind me if I had to to get them out of my way so I could leave. Never use a car wash with brushes, but brushless is fine.

I hear ya - and it rains just about every day around here these days - just enough to get the car dirty again. It's driving me crazy!

You back?? cool. It will probably be the 10th or 17th, maybe 24th of August. I have my own garage and driveway now too, so detailing will be a hell of a lot easier

You can check out my fully remodeled new crib too, which means I can finally join the "check out my pimp house" thread
