I want to attempt this mod too, as oil temps are quite low and I drive short distances. So for N52 with automatic transmission I need these parts:

11537526941 - hose (which replaces 17127540020)
11428637821 - filter unit gasket
11428637820 - filter unit gasket
11428683206 - filter unit
11427525333 - filter unit radiator

Correct?
Does it really help to increase oil temperature faster after cold start?

I plan on upgrading the rad to the spiffy CSF simultaneously, so we can reject more heat when the fancy computer decides we need to.
I didn't really bother with the part number, I took the oil cooler and the single piece of hose directly connecting to it from a 5 series xDrive, and everything fits perfectly

You can cross reference the parts with the full kit from FCP. I had to get bits of pieces of it, but still haven't installed yet.
