Disabling codes with MHD?
On 1/26/23 a new table was added to the N55-e XDF for disabling codes, which MHD should be able to do just by putting them in there. The cells are a 32-bit unsigned int, which is twice as long as any BMW code, at least for the N55e. I found a post from the X3 forums on bimmerpost https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1806775, mentioning just to throw the code in there and leading 0s will auto generate. Has anyone else had success with this method?

works like a charm.
One thing to note - you can disable some codes, but it will not stop the DME from handling a failure condition and sometimes stops logic from executing correctly. I run MAFless and, if I delete all the MAF codes, the engine will run extremely lean. If I get rid of the code delete, the CEL stays on, but the engine runs fine without a MAF. |

Not sure why I tried this myself but I completely forgot you tried this with no success and I ran into the exact same issue. My best guess from the code deletes is that rather than ignoring the MAF signal bc its obviously disconnected, it tries to read it. I wish I knew how to disable it because MAFless seems to mess with my timing tables in my tune
