Fuel Filter pump and more
I have a 200k mile e90 I'm wondering about replacing fuel filter more as maintenance than anything as my car keeps chugging along. Any thoughts suggestions?? Is this something to mess with and worry about..?? Parts is about $160 and for an N52 the fuel rail needs to be depressurized. Fuel filter needs a special tool and is inside fuel tank under rear seat. So I would have a shop do this.
I'm also thinking of replacing injectors at $195 (for parts all six) seems reasonable but open to others thoughts..?? |

Knowing what a hassle it is to access the filter (integral with the pump in tank) I think I'd replace the pump at the same time. But if you use good quality fuel such as Shell V-Power, I'd leave well alone.
