10s runs on E30 and 20.7psi Boost

I had 2 runs last night at the Willowbank Raceway Test N Tune using the E30 tune and launching in 1st gear. The results were a 10.804s@128.62mph run followed by a PB 10.636s@128.64mph run. The 60' times were 1.637s and 1.581s respectively. Launches were abrupt using the transbrake which has resulted in some damage to the driveline which I got to find. There is now a loud whine coming from somewhere when driving. Hopefully, it is the centre bearing or rear CV joint on the driveshaft.

More boost and ethanol should get me into the low 10s if the drivetrain can take it.

I might need a diff and axles like yours Brule. I think the M3 diff maybe damaged from the savage launches. There is a howl/whine coming from the driveline on deceleration which indicates to me the diff.

The M3 diff has been dismantled and it requires the crown and pinion gears to be replaced as well as the bearings. No more trans brake launches as they are too expensive.

The whine I had after the TNT was found to be coming from the diff. I had to have the pinion and crown gears, bearings and seals replaced. $2,700 later I have the diff back and installed in the car. I haven't driven it as yet so hopefully, there are no other hidden issues. Needless to say, I won't be launching on the trans brake anymore. I will try a normal TC launch on the brakes which isn't as harsh on the driveline because all components are in tension at launch.

Crazy to hear the price of fixing the diff.
Sell it and get a ford 8.8 diff next.

If I remember correctly, Brule didn't you have delays and issues with your 8.8 diff and axles.
