How exactly do you get the airbox off....(M)

I need to replace my TMAP sensor and having trouble with the rubber clamps that hold it on.

you mean the rubber posts? Just pull up w/ a good amount of force, they will pop out. Pull hard.

yup just pull up, rubber posts that hold the airbox down, get both the rear and front intake tubes/clamps off first though.

So after detaching everything, I just pull the airbox up to pop it off the posts?

yep, remove the clambs, remove the top, remove the filter, detach any cables that are attached to it...and then take the box out.

You can also take a small flathead screwdriver and stick it down in between the rubber grommet and the plastic post on the side of the post flange. Will help it come off much easier. Same thing goes for the removal of the cable grommets off the stock airbox, just stick the screwdriver down the sides and pull up, they come right off.

I accidentally tore one of the rubber thingies off...decided to take them all off so the stealership wouldn't say anything.... 1 broken rubber thingy vs no rubber thingies....

Sounds like a nice balanced vibration problem to me ... I'd have to assume the rubber thingies were intended to do something ..

maybe there's a part number for you to order them at $67 apiece ;-)
