2007 e92 335i automatic transmission change
Fairly new to all this and am learning as I go. I have a new to me used transmission from a 2007 335i that will be putting into my 2007 335i coupe. I'm not sure if the new to me transmission is from a coupe or sedan and I don't have the original transmission if that makes a difference. I've been reading through a couple posts about how to get the transmission to match VIN but still not super clear on the process.
can the vin be coded onto the new trans with winkfp or is bimmergeeks protools better for this? Can anyone point me to a youtube or write up of the steps to do this in either program? Any info would be a huge help |
