~1k over invoice max. Perhaps even less in this economic environment. Esp. for an 08.
Good luck! FM

For a 328 I wouldn't go much more than 500 over invoice if anything (Maybe $750, but thats max). It's not like you're shopping a 1-Series, X6, or even an 09' Model. There's no reason they should be charging that much for your 328xi. $500-$750 over invoice or walk...

This is off topic, but I'm also in a similar situation as ginobili.
A dealer by me is offering a CPO vehicle that is almost exactly what I want, except it is a little more loaded than I need and has a different color interior trim than what I would ideally have wanted. It's a 2007 328xi coupe, Jet Black with Saddle Brown leather, equipped with Auto Trans, Premium Package, and Cold Weather Package--maybe read sunshade too but I forget. It has about 4000-5000 miles and is listed at around $44K. I checked Edmunds and for that specific CPO vehicle, I should expect to pay around $41K. For additional reference, I also looked up MSRP and invoice if I were to buy a brand new 2008 model with the same specs, and it came to MSRP: $44,950 INVOICE: $41,410, and TMV: $43,231. If the TMV for a BRAND NEW 2008 is $43, am I wrong for thinking it's a little ridiculous that the dealership is selling a used 2007 model for $1,000 more? |
