Hey guys,

I retrofited the CIC into my 2007 e92 and flashed to the latest i-level.
I used the SWT Patcher v2 to virginize the CIC Certificates.
I edited the FSCs that where provided with the Patcher using FS Tool 2 to my cars vin.

But I have now a problem: first of all my CIC has still the vin of the donor car, i don't know how to change it, i think using FS Tool it self, but that leads to the second problem:

No matter what i try with FS Tool (i tried "get status", "check fsc", "get vin") i get the "car sever error 2020".

has anyone an idea why i get the 2020 error code and what does it means?

EDIT:
Fixed it by updating fs tool 2 and car server to the latest version i could find (2.20 / 19).
Now everything works as it should like

okay I actually got it to work, but new problem now: the cic only accepted the fsc for 17 but rejected the fsc and fsc cert for 1B and 19.

What am i doing from? i am doing the exact same step as i did for 17, but the fsc cert and fsc get everytime rejected? (error 2090)

StoreFSCSCert
CheckFSCSCert
StoreFSC
CheckFSC

For each certificate?

yes i did and get on every application number, except 17 and 9C, the error code 2090

Hello,

I having the same issues with "get status", "check fsc", "get vin") i get the "car sever error 2020". I am unable to find a newer version of fstool, can you please help. thank you!

No, sorry. I’ve taken a break from the project and still can’t find one, I’ll post it here if I do 👍

This installer should contain a working version of fstool, doesn't need to be latest to use just needs to work...
