Hi,

Need some help with this issue I'm having with my iDrive knob so I received my replacement CCC unit from a 2008 BMW 335i. This one powers on and works! I've coded it to my car 06 330i using CGATE CHOST CAUD CTUNE CAPPL NCS expert.

All the buttons work on the unit, the steering wheel buttons work for the ccc unit as well, it displays on the idrive screen as well, BUT the idrive knob doesnt work spins freely etc. Now previously with the old oem ccc unit the idrive knob was working fine so I know its not a bad knob.

Is there a way to code the original oem 06 330i idrive knob to communicate and work correctly with the replacement 08 335i CCC unit? The only issue I'm having as of right now.
