The third was a magnum SRT8 with a woman driver, also on the freeway, also a spanking. V2.

Was the 335i stock tune?
Bad drivers?

I would like to see you walk Anthony's car.

WELL first off, I don't know who Anthony is but can only assume it's the OP? I sold my car but unless he has NOS of forced induction which he isn't indicating, I am confident it wouldn't be a problem pulling yet another SRT-8 considering V3 stats and times we have all seen lately. I pulled an SL55 and a C6 Corvette in 70-140 races with V2... Not sure what else makes you think an SRT8 has a chance...?

Second, how the F are you a bad driver in an SRT8 anything... They're automatics. Press and go.

+1. In the past, I have walked 3 SRT-8's...a 300C SRT-8 (highway runs), a Jeep GC SRT-8 (highway runs), and a Charger SRT-8 (from a couple stop lights to ~ 90+mph). The Charger SRT-8 was the closest of all three, and I pulled ~ 1.5 CLs on him by 3rd gear). By the OP's own quote, he says his car runs 12.8 sec. @ 109mph with some mods (but w/o his twin turbo setup); stock SRT-8's aren't as fast, especially in the higher speeds where they're weight and aerodynamic "brick-like" inefficiency kills them.

SRT 8

Might be hard hiding the twins when he goes in for warranty work!!

Look, I like SRT vehicles. Seriously considered the Charger before going with the BMW. But hey, the driving experience is night and day regardless of which is faster in a straight line.

My only competitive experience was with a gorgeous red Charger on the toll road from a roll (about 70 mph). He got a head start (i.e., the jump) and pulled a couple of car lengths but I caught him in the low triple digits and passed him pretty hard. I didn't catch my speed at that point because I was kinda busy looking at the road. When I finally looked down, the speedo read about 145 and he was nowhere in sight. This is with the Turbo Tuner (and this is a 'mild' tune?). I slowed down thinking he'd want to go again but when he caught up, he wouldn't even look at me. I figure he must have lost his nerve since SRT's are not limited to 155 like us folks. I know, very unscientific.

Nowadays it's just too dangerous out here. There are patrols everywhere so the opportunity to run hard is VERY limited. Even still, after watching the V3 install video on YouTube...

SRT-8's 300C's are no joke @ more than double the displacement of our little 3 litre TT's. It probably sucks gas like a jumbo jet though...

Yes, they are quite fast with their monster, tuned hemi v8 engines, but their >4,200lb. weight and brick-like aerodynamics hurt them in the higher speeds.
