Hey guys, I just picked my car up on monday and I'm looking to drop around $300 or so on some nice products. I've compiled a small list and want to know what you guys think.

PC 7424 w/ foam pads. Im not sure which pads to get as it is a new car, but I will be working on my 01 X5 as well

Car wash - Z7
Clay - either mothers or magic
abrasive polish - menzerno intensive polish
mild polish - zaino zpc
sealant - zaino Z2 pro
wax - s100
quick detailer - zaino z6
wheel and tire - eagle one A2Z
tires - mother fx and/or relflection

What do you think? Is there any think I should add or take away? Thanks for you help.

I have Flex (so IMHO things should be applicable to PC users as well).
I'd add PO85RD polish to your list, I just did a test on my trunk 535i for both PO106FF and PO85RD as final polish. Before the test I expect to see no difference but PO85RD gives more gloss than PO106FF. I think PO85RD is fine after Menz IP.
AS far as pads, I'll say 2 of each LC Yellow, Orange and white. I'll start with orange + IP (maybe yellow if you have deep swirld) then white + PO85RD.

Be prepare to do a section of 18"x18" twice with random orbital for stubborn swirls. Each session would last 3-4 minutes, FYI.

the list looks good to me, a few comments:

• i assume you have all the wash supplies needed to minimize marring, this realy is the most important thing and where your money should be spent, IMO
• i agree the flex is a better machine but it would blow your budget
• if your a zanio guy also get z8, a very nice glossier / mini-protectant in one that you can use once or twice a month. EDIT: just noticed you were gonna top z2 w/ a carnuba, not sure how z8 would work in that case.

Thing is, I've done more than a basic wash with some soap and whatnot. I just got my car and want to keep it looking nice as well as work on my older one. I basically went through the stickies and various other threads to try and find a nice combo.

What is marring btw?

Also, if someone would be able to answer hapers question about the Z2 in conflict with the Z8 it would be much appreciated.
