Jesus i'd be worried if i was your wife, you're not good at picking and sticking.

I quite like the looks but feel the convertible actually looks better than the coupe and adds a certain something to the experience if you feel it may be a bit boring to go from Cayman to old man comfort machine. Assuming we are talking NA only here, I don't see a lot of alternatives and certainly not anything smaller because smaller = turbo 4 pot almost exclusively from damn near everyone.

If you want a powerful NA engine it's flat 6 Porsche of a big car, there's no in between, stop looking for unicorns.

EDIT: Only thing I can thing of as a viable alternative is an F-type, supercharged i know but close enough.

Just get a Redeye Hellcat. They are all boats anyway. At least the Hellcat can boogie.

I'll throw a legit option out there but you won't like it. It is big though but so be it. Maserati Gran Turismo, looks like sex, Ferrari V8, sounds like porn ..... what can go wrong?

Other option is a Vantage in good shape.

Lately I have been feeling like a GT car fits me better.

The LC seems to tick quite a few boxes for me.

1. unique and rare
2. beautiful
3. reliable
4. sounds amazing
5. naturally aspirated
6. DCT like transmission (I need this as a manual lover)

I have yet to drive one and intend to do so before making the move but interested in hearing from people on here who have experience with the LC. (a 20 to 30 minute test drive can only tell you so much)

I tend to like manual, small, compact cars with good outward visibility. The LC would be a big departure from that, but offers an amazing ride and good clearance which makes driving in a city with horrible roads more enjoyable. On the other hand its sheer size makes me wonder how it would be to live with in a city with tight roads and parking.
I had no plans on ever getting one and a 2018 LC 500 in Autumn Shimmer with alcantara Toasted Caramel interior fell in my lap I fell in love immediately I couldn't believe I was buying a brown car but the colors in person in the sun combined were absolutely stunning, pictures don't do it justice at all. It was a beast to drive also, I always drove it in sport mode, some of the most fun I've ever had, sounds, torque and downshift were insane. I got compliments everywhere I went, in valet at Beverly Hills Hotel next to a Rolls Royce and I still got WAY more attention, even on the highway I got thumbs up all the time. I had to sell it to get an suv but I really regret selling it. I sold it and got a X5M and have lost my ass on it, if I would've kept the LC I would be way better off but that's neither here nor there. I've actually told myself I'll buy another one again but I want the exact same spec I had which is pretty rare. I couldn't recommend the LC enough, pull the trigger you won't regret it. Color options and packages do matter though, so choose wisely if you do get one. Atomic silver or the dark green with the toasted caramel also look insane in person. Def get the performance package.

If you can't drive it hard, what's the point? It doesn't need to be a rock-hard GT3RS, but at the same time I don't get a big cruiser like that.

drove once recently, amazing sound, but just too big for condo living in Toronto, would be a hassle coming and going every time and would have to map out everywhere you go, I am leaning towards the IS500, worse tranny and doesn't sound as good but way more liveable as your only car living in a condo in a crowded city

300K? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaah that must be some special version, they're nowhere near that.

I circle back to Ftype, otherwise a sedan yeah IS or something. Personally i'd just get perfect E92 M3.

I would look at Z4 M40i and new Mustang Dark Horse.

Earlier this year, i got the Mach 1 with the Tremec and its a pure joy to shift/drive. It has MagneRide suspension which really makes the car ride amazing. The sound of the engines/exhaust is just perfect.

Mustang is the last one left with manual and NA V8 so they can inflate the price. I think Dark Horse is a must bec thats the only way to get Tremec.

Not a fan of the teardrop looking headlights but otherwise a great looking car.

I've autocrossed it before...definitely more of a GT car. Shame the S-class coupe/convertible were killed off. I'm not a fan of the 8-series, its very plain looking for its price. LC is a nice choice for a GT.

Would I trade my 718 6MT for one? If it had a manual I would consider it....
