Updating/Flashing DME and all modules

Hello all,

New member here and new to BMW - just purchased a clean 2011 E92 335i a few months ago. Previous owner left an MHD tune on the car. I want to go JB4, but before doing so I want to flash the DME back to factory and have it running on the latest firmware. I understand that WINKFP is a common tool used to do this but was wondering if theres a better option. Does anyone know where I can download the latest DATEN files for the DME and all of the modules?? Also, I am assuming after flashing/updating the DME I will need to input the injector values - anything else I'll have to code in after flashing?

Thanks!

search google for SP data. This is the data you need to flash...
If you want to update your whole car then download ISTA P. Maybe you can handle it better.

bimmergeeks.net for the daten files.

Just use WinKFP to update the DME. It's simple to set up and use. You don't need to do anything after updating the DME. As for the rest of the modules, there might be four or five at most that may have a update available but nothing critical.
