Unhappy E91 LCI AUX stopped working

Hi guys,

I've been having problems with my AUX connection in center compartment. One day it just stopped working. Initially I thought this is a problem of my bluetooth adapter (tunai firefly), but then it turned out none of the input works. After doing some digging around in the forums I found out that AUX input doesn't go directly to main unit, but through the mulf2 module. Initially though maybe some connectors in mulf2 did not connect properly so tried to switch it off, dissassemble, clean it up a bit and put it back in. After multiple attempts to connect/disconnect I was getting the audio through for couple of seconds and then it goes out again.

My guess is that it must be the faulty mulf2 that is causing this. So my question is - how do I replace it? Do I need to code it somehow if I bring used one from other car? Would it work if I take one from bmw 5 series ? I know it has to be mulf2 high (the one I have). Is there anything else I should be aware of ?

Thank you in advance

Might work .
Default code to factory setting for that module and change the Vin number
for that module with ncsexpert and winkfp.
the default coding from the factory for each module is stored in the Frm and Cas
see coding sub forum .
