Advice in buying a e90 320d pre-lci

Hi guys new to the forum and new to the bmw family but a total bmw fan.
Im looking to buy a used 320d e90 pre lci 2008model driven only for 35000kms , interior condition is great just like new. It has the idrive system and dial and sunroof too. Am here to take advice from the experts of this forum for wht shud i look before i buy it and wht things i have to be careful after buying it. As this is going to be my very first bmw my dream from many years.
And lastly wht kind if gearbox does e90 have? Is it a torque converter or a DUAL CLUTCH? as dct are prone to failures.

Finally got my self a 320d pre lci wth n47d20 engine habing 174bhp. Car is in great condition. Drives really well.
But i didn't got brochure with it not can find on net.
Wanted to ask few questions abt it-
1- when i start the car check engine light doesn't come on while starting only airbag and handbrake comes on and goes off after the cranck up
2- car is having idrive system CCC can i play dvd videos on it? And wht sort of music cds it can play?
