Overspray inside windows?

Had my car tinted and my tint guy is saying there was something all over the windows, he tried to clean it but the tint looks terrible still. Any ideas what it could be? Some sort of cleaning product the dealer used maybe? He said he's seen similar on a few TRX Rams recently. He's concerned about damaging the rear defroster when he tries to fix it.

Having a hard time getting past the fact the tint guy went ahead and tinted the windows with something on them.

Consider taking the car to the dealer. Chances are the service techs have seen this before and know what to do.

Yeah I'm not sure what to do at this point. He's generally a pretty stand up guy and the spots are not visible when the tint is off so I think he got everything prepped and cut and the realized the windows were fucked so he had to clean them and do it again. He said he did the best he could and tried multiple cleaning products and scraping but was worried about damaging the defroster. I may just live with it at this point, the other windows had the same thing but he was able to clean them up pretty well.

I have him fixing the spot on the passenger window but he's hesitant to try to fix the rear

My guy came through and was able to do a great job cleaning off whatever was on the window. Still a couple tiny dots but something I can live with now. He thinks that maybe something in the car needed to be resprayed or maybe it was parked near something. They are tiny hard specks that have to be scraped off and arent visible when the tint is off, making them very difficult to even find

Much better! Glad he got it almost completely gone. You wouldn't be able to tell unless you were looking for it.

Yeah he really put some extra love into it and kept the car overnight last night to make sure he did his best. He did my wife's Tesla which was spotless and so was my C7 Corvette. My car is always the cheapest car in the lot by far so I always know I'm in good hands. There were 2 GT3 RSs (992 and 997) sitting in the lot last week when I dropped the car off the first time
